Compare and Contrast Essay Requirements Comparison/Contrast essay (2 « pages) 600 words minimum; 700 word maximum and a MLA Works Cited Page In a comparison/contrast essay, you will review two newspaper articles (sources) for your argumentative essay topic, and illustrate the similarities and differences in various aspects of writing (e.g., purpose, main argument, tone, structure, audience, language use, evidence usage). Select two or three key points to compare and contrast. Each body paragraph should focus on one key point with your perspectives presented for each point. Include a Works Cited page.
