Please discuss both your short and longterm career goals, including your vision of your postgraduation employment, and how a Master of Science in Business Analytics helps you achieve that goal. ANSWER career For a long time, I have had the zeal and passion to study actuarial science. Although it is a quite challenging course, passion plus my personal abilities help me out greatly. Academic wise, I am good at mathematics, which is a key component in my course. A also have great interest in analysis and calculation a trait that helps me out in statistics, another core component of my course. I am a fast learner, which means I get concepts and all other academic proceedings easily. This has helped me greatly when dealing with new chapters and other modes of study. I have worked as an intern at JP investment bank in Beijing. This gave me exposure, an open perspective of what my carrier entails. The intern program gave me so much exposure and the right experience plus attitude needed to make it in my line of carrier. My short-term career goal is that I intend to study a degree in Business Analytics in the University of Texas. It is a well known and its academic credibility is quite high. Among my other obligations is to go on studying business related courses up to my PhD level. My long-term goal is actually to emerge as an experienced and well-known consultant. Apart from consulting, my vision is to establish my own company in china. A masters degree in Business Analytics will really help me out in my carrier. It will give the right academic capability to be in a position to handle various challenges that I will encounter in my practice. It is logical that in any carrier, one needs to be well equipped with the right skills and knowledge to tackle different carrier challenges. This will actually make my carrier aspiration complete.
