Most investors in this country, possibly even yourself, invest passively in the stock market through mutual funds as part of a retirement plan (401(k), IRAs, etc.). These funds are managed by individuals charged with minimizing risk and maximizing return. In your opinion, including any additional research you pursue independently, how might passive investors be more active in managing their investments?
