Leadership Interview: Students should consider this assignment as an opportunity to gain access to someone who you have an interest in meeting, for example, a senior VP or CEO at a company in your hometown or in the Manchester area. Another option would be to interview a CEO of a non-profit organization.

Students are expected to interview someone outside the university community and may not interview a relative for this project. All individuals to be interviewed must be approved by the instructor. The structure of the interview must be guided by the Kouzes & Posner framework. You can and should expand on the Kouzes & Posner framework in order to insure a rich and comprehensive interview. As you write up your interview, indicate areas of agreement and disagreement between the person you interviewed and the Kouzes & Posner framework of leadership. Your write-up should be in third person essay format. Do not use a question and answer format.
